Brymore is a Secondary Technical School and a state boarding school - education is free, parents pay only the modest boarding fees. Brymore is a small school - there are up to sixty boys in each year and the largest class holds 24 students. Boys arrive aged 13 (Year 9) and take GCSE and NVQs in Year 11. We have a Year 12 course as well.Support for learners is an important part of the Brymore experience. High achievers continue to do well while those with additional needs find personal support throughout the school. Half of our boys come from farming backgrounds, but the practical education appeals to many, irrespective of their future destinations.

Religious Observance
|
Brymore has no particular religious affiliation. An assembly is held daily, however, attended by all boys and teaching staff. This normally takes the form of a talk or reading, a prayer and a hymn. Visiting speakers are also invited to conduct assemblies. Parents can withdraw their sons from collective worship if they so wish. |

There are two resident houseparents in each house. School house is currently being refurbished and will provide a further 50 beds on site (completion in late 2010) following which Cannington House will be sold. |
